UALR expected to have White, Neighbour back on Thursday

Barring a setback, it appears UALR will have senior Will Neighbour and sophomore James White on the court Thursday when the Trojans host Georgia State at the Jack Stephens Center.

Neighbour, who averages 17.7 points and 7.3 rebounds, injured an ankle late in Saturday's game vs. South Alabama. He returned to the game but appeared to be limping. He's expected to be available when UALR returns to practice on Tuesday.

White has missed the past four games with an ankle injury. He averages 11.4 points and 5.9 rebounds but had been among UALR's best points and rebounds producers in Sun Belt play. White was able to work out over the weekend and likewise is expected to be available at practice on Tuesday.

UALR players were given both Sunday and Monday off of practice. Coaches have spent the time recruiting. Shields left immediately after Saturday's game and is still on the road today. Assistant Coach Joe Kleine will sub for Shields on this week's TV show (6:30 p.m. on Channel 49) and Assistant Coach Robert Lee will sub on the radio show (7 p.m. on 920 AM).
