Understandably, the Georgia State-South Alabama game has been postponed tomorrow night. But this means, for the second consecutive week, UALR will play a Saturday game against an opponent that didn't have to play on Thursday.
UALR played last Thursday night against Texas State while Saturday opponent Arkansas State was idle. South Alabama, this week's Saturday opponent, now has off this Thursday.
Watching road conditions in the Atlanta area, I'm not sure there's anything else that could have been done. But it means UALR, which has struggled on Saturdays, has another tough turnaround.
Georgia State and South Alabama will makeup their game on Monday, Feb. 3.
