While UALR rests, works, next opponents resume game action

BURN THE HORSE
While UALR gets some rest (and hopefully some studying done), the Trojans' next two opponents will be in action.

UALR (7-4) doesn't play again until hosting Tulsa on Saturday, December 15. UALR will then host Louisiana Tech on Monday, Dec. 17.

This is UALR's first extended time between games since the season began on Nov. 9. That means the first opportunity for three consecutive days of practice (without a game or travel interfearing) since the start of the season. If they resume practice on Monday, there's the potential for five consecutive days if they practice everyday.

Tulsa, now coached by Kansas legend Danny Manning, plays just once between now and next Saturday, hosting TCU on Saturday at the Reynolds Center. Tulsa is 5-3 on the season but has yet to beat a team with a winning record. TCU is 6-3 on the season, including a loss to SMU.

Louisiana Tech plays twice. The Bullodogs, 7-2 on the season, play Saturday at home against Southern Miss and Wednesday, Dec. 12 at McNeese State. La Tech, which beat UALR earlier this season in Ruston, had won seven consecutive games before getting tripped up 89-83 at Northwestern State.
