BURN THE HORSE
We teased this on the Burn The Horse message board but we now have official word.The public is invited to attend UALR's first official men's basketball practice of the year at 5 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 12) at 5 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center.
This, along with the Meet The Trojans event on Nov. 1, will be the only opportunity to see the 2012-2013 UALR Trojans before their Nov. 9 opener against Tennessee-Martin.
"We're also excited to be almost back to full strength as official practice begins," UALR Coach Steve Shields said. "We've had a couple of guys sidelined for the last month or so with various injuries. Most of them had a target date to be cleared to return to practice by Friday, and fortunately nearly all of them have met that goal."
Thanks to Coach Shields for allowing this to happen.
FYI if you're planning to go. Recording devices, including cell phones, will be prohibited. Leave yours in the car.
