Some solid info from ULL play-by-play man Jay Walker.He reports as it relates to basketball:
- Starting next season, student sections will no longer be allowed behind visitors' benches. UALR's is on the end of the Jack Stephens Center and should be OK. It's been a few years since I've made the round
- No more automatic suspensions for ejections. Remember last year when FIU Coach Isiah Thomas was ejected in Little Rock and had to miss the next game at Jonesboro? Instead, these will be reviewed by the conference office on a case-by-case basis.
- Also starting next season, no Sun Belt Conference games will be played before Christmas. This year, UALR opens SBC play in November.
