UALR loses ground, still holding on to position in Sun Belt standings

BURN THE HORSE
Updated the Burn The Horse Sun Belt Conference 1-11 after Saturday night's games. Middle Tennessee has all but sewed up the No. 1 seed at the postseason tournament with their victory over UALR on Saturday.

The team that lost the most on Saturday was North Texas, which lost in double overtime at Florida Atlantic. North Texas was sitting in fourth and dropped to sixth with that loss. That moved Florida Atlantic up one to fifth for the fifth and final bye in the conference tournament.

Teams helping themselves the most included Denver, which badly needed a victory at Florida International, and Louisiana-Lafayette, which needed overtime to beat Arkansas State. ULL keeps pace with UALR and is in position to win the West Division if UALR slips up in one of its final four games.
