Denver radio play-by-play man Mitch Hyder, who was upset during UALR’s victory over Denver on Saturday, apparently went off. We’d love to hear the actual audio, though its doubtful it will ever surface.

But Denver mid-major site Mile High Mids was giving a play-by-play of Hyder’s comments on its twitter feed. According to Mile High Mids, this is what Hyder said:
  • “Joe Scott is beside himself.” No call on Denver’s end when they got “hammered”, then Cajuns gifted. “It is beyond a crime.”
  • “What we saw in the last 10 seconds of regulation and in overtime… what we have just witnessed… is absolutely mind-boggling.”
  • “This is a bad situation for everybody, including the radio guy.”
  • “The officiating was an absolute travesty. … An absolute, unequivocal joke.”
  • “It is absolutely mind-boggling the garbage that goes on in this place [Lafayette].”

As if all that wasn’t enough, Denver freshman Royce O’Neale didn’t hold back on his Twitter feed:
  • “Man we got cheated so bad!!!”
  • “Louisiana Lafayette always find so way to cheat we teams come play them!”
