UALR women take on Denver in annual WBCA PinkZone game

BURN THE HORSE
Don't forget tonight is the annual Women's Basketball Coaches Association PinkZone game as the UALR women host Denver at the Jack Stephens Center.
The UALR Athletic Department will give away 850 pink wristbands. All breast cancer survivors and their guests receive free admission. All fans are encouraged to wear pink. And BTH has gone pink for the day.
The Trojans will also walk with breast cancer survivors as they are announced.
They will also sell $5 pink t-shirts with proceeds going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. And there will be $5 raffle tickets for a chance to win an autographed pink basketball and two pink shooting shirts.
As if all that isn't enough, UALR also has a lot on the line. The Trojans have won 11 consecutive games, 20 consecutive home games, 25 consecutive Sun Belt Conference games and 13 consecutive games played in February. The Trojans just finished off a perfect January for the second consecutive year and had won 17 consecutive games played in that month.
UALR has beaten Denver seven consecutive times, but many of those games have been close. Denver is in second place in the Sun Belt's West Division and has been the top contender for UALR the past three seasons.
