Shields now alone at No. 2 on UALR coaching list

   With UALR's 81-50 victory over Louisiana-Monroe on Thursday, Coach Steve Shields moved into sole possession of second place on the all-time victories list at UALR.
   Shields had been tied with Happy Mahfouz for second place all-time with 122 victories. Shields now has 123 and trails Mike Newell's total of 133 by 10.
   Shields was suspended for the game but the NCAA allows schools to determine whether the victory should go to the suspended coach or the interim coach. In most cases, the victory goes to the suspended head coach. That was the protocol UALR followed on Thursday.
