UALR-Oral Roberts preview

Oral Roberts vs. UALR
6:30 p.m. Central tonight
South Point Arena, Las Vegas, Nev.
UALR has been a head scratcher of late, losing three consecutive games to Ole Miss, Rice and Akron. At times the Trojans have looked good. At other times, they've been completely awful.
Tonight the Trojans take on Oral Roberts at 6:30 p.m. Central at South Point Arena in Las Vegas. Oral Roberts also comes into the game on a three-game losing streak with losses to Oklahoma, Missouri and Miami.
Something has to give for one of these teams.
In its three losses, Oral Roberts has shot 36 percent, 26 percent and 35 percent from the field. Meanwhile, UALR has allowed three consecutive opponents to shoot better than 50 percent from the field.
It seems pretty simple. UALR is 4-0 this season when its opponent scores 60 or fewer and 6-1 when its opponent scores 70 or fewer. And UALR is 0-6 when its opponent shoots a higher field goal percentage.

In the first meeting, a 26-point victory by Oral Roberts in Tulsa, the Golden Eagles shot 57 percent from the field and 63 percent from the three-point line. They also made 20 of 30 free throws.
Oral Roberts is slumping offensively right now. UALR has to take advantage of that if it hopes to come away from Las Vegas with a winning record.
