Week before Christmas hasn't been kind to UALR

Twas the week before Christmas and all through the courts ....

History says UALR may struggle tomorrow at Illinois State. It has nothing to do with the fact that Illinois State is 7-3 on the season.

The calendar hasn’t been kind to UALR over the past nine years.

In its final game before Christmas break, UALR is:

• 4-0 if the game is played at home or a neutral site;
• 0-5 if the game is played on the road.

Of course, tomorrow’s game is being played on the road at Normal, Ill. UALR hasn’t won a road game in the last contest before Christmas since the 2001-2002 season when it won at Grambling State. Since then, UALR has lost road contests against Southern Miss, Creighton (twice), Louisiana-Monroe and Wright State.
