There are two schools of thought as to what to do with your players over Christmas break. UALR Coach Steve Shields prefers to give them as much time as possible at home and tries not to bring them back to campus until December 26.He accomplished that this year. UALR players were able to go home last Wednesday. They are scheduled to report back to Little Rock today. They'll practice today and Tuesday before heading to Denton, Texas, on Wednesday. The Trojans take on North Texas at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Sun Belt Conference opener.
North Texas will have played three times since UALR's last game. They play non-Division I and former Sun Belt Conference opponent New Orleans on Tuesday night.
