Plenty of UALR opponents in action last night on TV

For UALR fans, there was a lot of interesting basketball on TV last night and I'm sure the DVR at the Jack Stephens Center was on overdrive. Four future UALR opponents were on TV last night. Well, at least they were on DirecTV at the BTH headquarters:

• Western Kentucky overwhelmed an underwhelming Southern Illinois team to pick up a nice road victory on Fox College Sports.
• Illinois State survived a late collapse to get a nice road victory at Morehead State on Comcast Sports Net Chicago.
• Missouri State couldn't hold on at home in a tough loss to Oklahoma State on ESPNU.
• And Denver completely collapsed at home in the final minutes in what turned into an overtime loss to a very good Iona team on ROOT-Denver.

UALR hosts Missouri State on Saturday, making that game of slightly more interest. The Trojans should get a very good scouting report off of that game. Missouri State threw everything they had at Oklahoma State, but couldn't overcome the Cowboys' free throw shooting late.
