BURN THE HORSE
The UALR women wrapped up their fourth consecutive Sun Belt West Division Championship, won their 14th consecutive game, won their 27th-consecutive Sun Belt Conference game and had Chastity Reed become the first player in school history, men or women, to top 2,000 career points. And the Sows made the front page in their tailspin? And the Cubs? Really? You can still hear UALR women's Coach Joe Foley speak today as he is the featured guest at the Downtown Tip-Off Club at the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. And UALR signee Taylor Gault is the featured player of the week.
Earlier this season, Foley, a member of the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame, became the first coach in Arkansas college basketball history with 600 victories earlier this season.Lunch begins at 11:15 a.m. Admission is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
