Troy did what all the rest of the West Division teams needed and beat Denver on Saturday. A Denver victory would have put the Pioneers in prime position to grab one of two byes at next month's Sun Belt Tournament in Hot Springs. That was the good news. The bad news was that Louisiana-Lafayette joined Western Kentucky as the only teams to sweep the Florida trip this season.
