BTH Analysis: New lineup twists in UALR victory over South Alabama

We saw a couple of new twists in the UALR rotation during Saturday's 62-58 victory over South Alabama.

First, we saw some minutes with Mareik Isom, who has played almost exclusively at the 4 since early in the season, playing at the 3. He was on the court with Josh Hagins, Ben Dillard, Kemy Osse and Will Neighbour late in the first half.

Second, we saw a few minutes with both Leroy Isler and Stetson Billings in the game at the same time. For the most, part, one or the other has been on the court. This time it came late in the first half and they were paired with Hagins, Osse and Neighbour.

Saturday's plus/minus best went to Dillard at +12. UALR was ahead 44-32 in his minutes. Isom was next best at +10 and Neighbour third at +7.

UALR won three of the four factors to winning. The Trojans got killed in effective field goal percentage at 53.3 percent to 39.8 percent. But they convincingly won turnover percentage, offensive rebound percentage and free throw rate.

The game's pace was at 60, making it a bit slower than Thursday's game against Louisiana-Lafayette.
