Leeper, Hagins earn top marks in UALR opener

Junior Gus Leeper's statistical line was pretty solid in Monday's home opener for UALR. Leeper had 10 points and 5 rebounds in 19 minutes of play. And those 19 minutes were the best minutes played by UALR during the 72-70 loss to North Florida.

UALR outscored North Florida 34-26 during Leeper's minutes as he finished a +8. But that averaged out to +0.42 for every minute Leeper was on the court.

Sophomore Josh Hagins was a team best +9 for the game but played 30 minutes. Others on the plus side included junior J.T. Thomas (+7), freshman Mareik Isom (+6) and senior Leroy Isler (+2), who was in foul trouble and limited to 16 minutes.
