UALR will play at Oklahoma on Nov. 29

A few weeks ago we posted the following: "In addition to the SEC’s Florida, UALR is in talks for road games at a regional Big XII school and at a regional American Athletic Conference school."

We can now confirm that the "regional Big XII" school is Oklahoma and UALR will play there on Nov. 29. Game time is 2 p.m. and the game will likely be available via TV.

UALR is 0-5 all-time against Oklahoma with the last meeting coming on Dec. 11, 1999, an 80-56 loss. The Trojans are 0-6 all-time at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla.

UALR has lost to Oklahoma four times at the LNC. The Trojans also lost a pair of games at a tournament at Norman during the 1985-1986 season. That year, UALR lost to Southeastern Louisiana and Austin Peay to drop to 4-8 on the season. UALR would eventually rebound, advancing to their first NCAA Tournament and beating Notre Dame.

Oklahoma finished 20-12 last season.
