BTH Analysis: Lockhart solid off the bench in UALR victory over FIU

Lockhart
It’s been coming for UALR sophomore Taggart Lockhart.

And after Saturday’s 88-76 UALR victory over Florida International, Lockhart is 1 of only 3 Trojan players who hasn’t been on the minus side of the BTH Plus/Minus ratings for the past four consecutive games (Josh Hagins and Will Neighbour are the others).

Lockhart played 20 minutes on Saturday, finishing with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal. But for those 20 minutes, UALR outscored Florida International 43-29. The game’s other 20 minutes saw FIU outscore UALR 47-45. That’s a pretty solid +14 for Lockhart.

The rest of Saturday’s top five, all boosted by being on the court as UALR turned a 22-16 lead into a 39-22 lead, included:

  • Kemy Osse +12 (30-18)
  • Stetson Billings +11 (17-6)
  • Gus Leeper +9 (17-8)
  • James White +6 (56-50)

Osse was solid again running the point with UALR outscoring FIU 25-15 with him running the show.

Hagins remains a team best +72 for the season, +4.0 per games played and +0.18 per minutes played. Leeper’s +23 is the best in the past five games while Lockhart is a team best +46 in Sun Belt games.
