South Alabama interim coach, players shocked by Ronnie Arrow's "retirement"

Ronnie Arrow "retired" as South Alabama's coach on Wednesday. Those around the program say they were shocked by the decision.

Reading between the lines, the bizarre thing about South Alabama Coach Ronnie Arrow's "retirement" this week is what's not being said. And the fact that Arrow hasn't said anything.

It appears everyone associated with the basketball program was shocked. Here's what interim Coach Jeff Price has to say. He found out from the Athletic Director.

Arrow was able to tell the players. But he apparently just told them, shook their hands and walked out.

Where does this leave South Alabama going into Saturday's game with UALR? It's a question that won't be able to be answered until the players take the court on Saturday.
