Former basketball player Jimmy Lampley will be inducted into the UALR Athletics Hall of Fame during the Trojans' home game on Feb. 16 vs. Middle Tennessee.

Lampley was part of the group of players who helped build the foundation that would eventually become the Mike Newell-coached teams' five consecutive postseason appearances.
Following his career at UALR, Lampley was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the fifth round of the 1983 NBA Draft. Lampley went on to play professionally in Canada, Belgium, Argentina and Mexico and returned to the NBA for a stint with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1986.
