UALR held its annual Meet the Trojans event on Thursday at the Jack Stephens Center and a pair of freshmen won the two competitions.Freshman John Gillon beat out freshman Kemy Osse and defending champion junior Will Neighbour to win the three-point shooting contest.
And redshirt freshman James White, led by his hurdling dunk over teammate Taggart Lockhart, won the slam dunk competition. Freshman Josh Hagins and junior Mike Evans were the other competitors.
