Credit the UALR coaching staff for going with what was
working last night. And what was working was the combination of sophomore
Taggart Lockhart and junior Leroy Isler playing at the same time.

Lockhart finished a team best +11 while Isler was a +8 as
UALR rallied to beat Troy 58-56 in the Sun Belt opener for both teams. The two
were actually a +14 when on the court at the same time.
With Lockhart in the game, UALR outscored Troy 46-35. With
Isler in, UALR outscored Troy 55-47. But with both on the court, UALR outscored
Troy 46-32.
The rest of the top five included:
- John Gillon +8 (47-39)
- Will Neighbour +2 (54-52)
- Josh Hagins +1 (28-27)
Note that with both Hagins and Gillon on the court at the same
time UALR was a +7.
Neighbour continues to lead most of the season plus/minus
categories. He’s at +33 for the season, +41 in the past five games, +.14 per
minute played and +4.1 per game played.
