UALR junior forward Will Neighbour is the first Trojan to be
selected first team All-Sun Belt Conference in the preseason poll since 2006.
The last UALR player to claim that honor was rebounding
sensation Rashad Jones-Jennings in 2006.
While UALR’s players haven’t spent much time on the
preseason list, they have excelled on the postseason list. Jones-Jennings,
Shane Edwards, Solomon Bozeman and D’Andre Williams were all named first team
All-Sun Belt on the postseason list. In addition, Bozeman was named conference player
of the year.
