UALR signs six high schoolers, wraps up recruiting

BURN THE HORSE
With the last remaining recruit on our board deciding to go elsewhere earlier this week, that appears to wrap up the 2011-2012 recruiting year for UALR.

The Trojans signed six players and all were high school recruits. It's difficult to remember a year when UALR didn't sign a single junior college player.

The fall signees were point guards Josh Hagins and John Gillon, guards Stetson Billings and Mareik Isom and post player Andrew Poulter. UALR added to the class in the spring with guard Kemy Osse.

With the announced departure of guard Chuck Guy to Tarleton State, UALR remains one over the scholarship limit of 13. That means one of the current 14 won't be here when classes start in August.
