UALR Coach Steve Shields did it again on Thursday night.For the 10th time in 11 opportunities as UALR's head coach, Shields' Trojans won a rematch of a game against an opponent that beat them by 10 or more points in the first meeting. Louisiana-Lafayette won by 19 in the first meeting in Little Rock with UALR winning Thursday's rematch in Lafayette.
The difference this time was that UALR won the second game on the road for the first time. Last year, the Trojans beat Oral Roberts and South Alabama at neutral sites in the second game. The previous eight times the second game was played at home.
It won't help UALR on Saturday as the Trojans take on Middle Tennessee. This is the first meeting of the season between the two schools.
