UALR signee Stetson Billings scores 57 points in Thursday's victory

BURN THE HORSE

We haven’t heard much about UALR signee Stetson Billings from Strong, Ark., this year. That changed in a big way last night.

Billings, who signed with UALR in November, had 57 points last night in Strong’s 89-65 victory over Bearden. The 57 points are likely a school record and makes Billings the first Union County player to score 50 since James Anderson, who did it three times against Bearden. Anderson went on to star at Oklahoma State.

Billings will be a freshman at UALR next year.
