Lockhart solid once again as UALR defeats Florida Atlantic

Whether you like the plus/minus statistic or not, there’s no denying UALR seems to function better with freshman Taggart Lockhart on the court. Last night’s 40-38 victory over Florida Atlantic was no different. UALR outscored Florida Atlantic 33-20 with Lockhart on the court, making him a +13 for the game.
The rest of the starters were:
- Chuck Guy +8 (26-18)
- Courtney Jackson +3 (31-28)
- D’Andre Williams +3 (37-34)
- Michael Javes -7 (20-27)
It was another solid performance from Guy, who is now tied for the team lead with Marlon Louziero at +18 in Sun Belt Conference games.
The key substitution last night came with 3:15 left after Florida Atlantic’s Kore White had been abusing the Trojans on the inside. UALR Coach Steve Shields put in Jackson for Javes. Florida Atlantic then went its final six possessions without a point as the Trojans went on an 8-0 run to win 40-38
