Sorry for the lack of updates

Sorry for the lack of updates to Burn The Horse. I've spent the past week in Joplin, Mo., dealing with our hospital and the aftermath of an EF5 tornado. I haven't been able to speak to anyone so I don't have any updates to give. And I don't think there as been any developments since the last time I did check.
Hopefully I'll be able to come back to Arkansas in a few days.

UALR scores another commitment to sign from Texas guard Ben Dillard

It was first reported from recruiting guru Eric Bossi and we can now confirm that shooting guard Ben Dillard has committed to sign with UALR. Dillard is a 6-2 guard from Frisco, Texas.
Rivals rates him a 3 star recruit and lists Iowa, North Texas, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU and Texas A&M among the schools that were showing interest. It’s not clear who made offers.
ESPN rated him as a 2 star with a score of 83 on its ratings scale. He was their 121st best shooting guard in the nation.
His dad, Sherman Dillard, is an assistant coach at the University of Iowa.
This comes from a 2009 evaluation of Dillard from ESPN:
Ben is a scoring combo guard. He is the son of the renowned former college basketball coach Sherman Dillard. Ben is a streaky shooter with range to 20 feet. He has a strong body and is generally effective creating his own shot, especially when going to his right. He has the ability to slash to the basket with solid quickness and his strong frame. He is a good rebounder for his position. Right now Dillard is more of a shooting guard then a point guard though he is trying to develop and improve as a point guard. Defensively he understands and is solid but needs to improve his effort a little more on that end of the court. Ben is a solid prospect with nice upside and bloodlines.
And while the spring signing period is winding down, it doesn’t appear to be over for UALR.
In the fall, the Trojans signed James White, Will Neighbour and Reggie Fondren. And so far this spring, we’ve seen Taggart Lockhart and Derek Lawton sign. Dillard is expected to sign this week, leaving UALR waiting only for the signature of Michael Javes.
