UALR Gameday: Trojans open season on the road against Tulsa

UALR makes its season debut tonight as it takes on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on the road.

We probably know less about this year's UALR team than any in recent memory. With a season-ending injury to forward Gus Leeper, UALR only has five known commodities: Sophomore Chuck Guy and seniors D'Andre Williams, Marlon Louzeiro, Courtney Jackson and Tramar Sutherland.
But there's plenty of anticipation about what the many newcomers will do. Of course, there will be an overreaction one way or another after the first game. We'll either be talking about how great they are or what busts they'll be. Neither is fair after one game. But it is the first opportunity for the public to see these guys on the court together. It should be interesting.
