Neighbour finishes +11 in UALR victory

BURN THE HORSE
Will Neighbour had one of those games on Sunday where the things you do on the court don't necessarily show up in the box score. He finished with 7 points and 4 rebounds. But he also used two slick passes to break the Northwestern State press and start fast breaks for easy baskets. He won't get an assist for either of those.

Where it does show up is in the plus/minus. Neighbour was a team best +11 in the 72-66 victory on Sunday. The rest of the top five on Sunday were D'Andre Williams (+7), Chuck Guy (+6), Tramar Sutherland (+6) and Eric Lawton (+4).

We've thought all along that this year's team will give Coach Steve Shields a lot of flexibility with his lineup combinations. He took it to the extreme on Sunday.

At one point in the first half, he used a big lineup of Williams, Chuck Guy, Neighbour, Courtney Jackson and Michael Javes. He then subbed and had a small lineup of Williams, Guy, Tramar Sutherland, Taggart Lockhart and Neighbour.

Plus/minus ratings and stats are now updated in BTH's right column.
