Chastity Reed scored 22 points and the UALR women won their first Sun Belt Conference Championship with a 66-59 victory over Western Kentucky at Summit Arena in Hot Springs.
"It is great especially after one extreme last year, crying because it hurt so badly to crying this year because it felt so good. It is not fun until the end of the year. It is work but it is when you hit March and you are playing in the tournament," UALR Coach Joe Foley said.
