UALR men to honor five seniors tonight

BURN THE HORSE
With the men's team still having a lot to play for tonight, UALR will say goodbye to its five seniors. All have made contributions to the program.
North Texas at UALR
7:30 tonight
Jack Stephens Center
- Solomon Bozeman: This season might go down as one of the best in school history. Bozeman is the Sun Belt's leading scorer in conference games and is a probable first team all-conference selection.
- Matt Mouzy: One of the best shooters in UALR history. Mouzy appears to have accepted the role he's been asked to play and has injected both shooting and energy into the lineup when he enters the game.
Montrell Thornton
- Alex Garcia-Mendoza: El Fuerte probably drew too much comparrison to John Fowler when he arrived. But he does have one thing in common with Fowler: Both play extremely hard all the time. Garcia-Mendoza has also improved as a shooter and is the teams best free throw shooter.
- Montrell Thornton: Much like Garcia-Mendoza, Money always plays hard. He's become a better rebounder and defender. And a nicer guy you'll have trouble finding.
- Derrick Bails: Probably as  talented a big man as has come to UALR in recent years. But he's struggled to utilize that talent in game situations. When he's been good, he's provided the exact element this team is missing. When he's struggled, the team has struggled to find it elsewhere.

The quality of this group's senior year will, unfairly or not, be decided in the next week. UALR is 15-15 on the season and 7-8 in conference play going into tonight's game with North Texas.
