Reed, Rolfe, Butler make history for UALR women's basketball

BURN THE HORSE
Chastity Reed was named Sun Belt Conference player of the week
The UALR women wrapped up their fifth consecutive 20-victory season with a win over North Texas last night.
UALR seniors Chastity Reed (above), Asriel Rolfe and Shanika Butler become the second, third and fourth players in school history to have won at least 20 games in each of their four years (Kim Sitzmann was the first last year).

This group will have one distinction. The victory last night clinched the WNIT's automatic berth if UALR doesn't win the Sun Belt Tournament or receive an unlikely at-large bid for the NCAA Womens Tournament. That means Reed, Rolfe and Butler are the first players in UALR women's basketball history to have gone to the postseason every year they played. They went to the WNIT as freshmen and sophomores and to the NCAA Women's Tournament as juniors.
