Garcia-Mendoza posts UALR best +5 rating in Sun Belt Championship victory

   After seemingly endless computer and Internet issues, UALR men's statistics have been updated through Tuesday's Sun Belt Conference championship game.

   Alex Garcia-Mendoza was a team-best +5 in the game as UALR defeated North Texas. With Garcia-Mendoza on the court, the Trojans outscored the Mean Green 43-38.    Gus Leeper turned in another solid game at +3, while Chuck Guy was +1. Solomon Bozeman and D'Andre Williams both finished at +1, which was the final margin of the game.
   Bozeman is a team best +67 for the season. Marlon Louzeiro is second at +42 and Leeper third at +41.
   During Sun Belt Conference Tournament play, Bozeman was a team best +34. He was +21 against South Alabama, +1 against Arkansas State, +11 vs. Middle Tennessee and +1 vs North Texas.
Leeper and Williams tied for second at +27 with Montrell Thornton third at +24.
