There's plenty still to play for and plenty to root for in the final 11 days of the regular season.
West Division standings
Denver                 9-4
Arkansas State       8-5
Louisiana-Lafayette 8-5
UALR                 6-6
North Texas          6-6
Louisiana-Monroe 1-13
Here's today's rooting guide:
Middle Tennessee at UALR: Of course, root for UALR.
Western Kentucky at Louisiana-Lafayette: Louisiana-Lafayette is the hottest team in the league, having won eight consecutive games. But in these East-West matchups, UALR really needs some losses for its West division-mates. Definitely root for Western Kentucky.
Arkansas State at Troy: Should you ever root for Arkansas State? Probably not. Definitely not in this case. A Troy victory would be a big help considering UALR still has to play at Arkansas State next weekend. Root for Troy.
South Alabama at Denver: Much like Thursday night, don't expect to get any help here. Denver is nearly unbeatable at home. However, a USA win would definitely help. Cross your fingers and root for South Alabama.
Louisiana-Monroe at North Texas: Here's another one where help is probably not coming. If nothing else, you need ULM to start playing a little better. Next weekend, you need them to beat ULL at home. But until then, hope for the best and root for Louisiana-Monroe.
