UALR women win 10th straight game, beat Florida Atlantic 68-54

   BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Marian Kursh had 16 points and 10 rebounds as the UALR women won their 10th consecutive game with a 68-54 victory over Florida Atlantic on Saturday afternoon.
   The victory was the 599th in the career of Coach Joe Foley. He’ll have his first opportunity to reach No. 600 next Saturday when UALR hosts Arkansas State.
   This victory moved UALR to 7-0 in the Sun Belt Conference. The Trojans have won 24-consecutive Sun Belt Conference games and 16-consecutive games played in January.
   Chastity Reed added 19 points and 8 rebounds for UALR, while Hannah Fohne had 10 points.
   Shanika Butler finished with 9 points, while Asriel Rolfe had 7.
   UALR started to open up a close game late in the first half. A three-pointer by Rolfe with 30 seconds left gave the Trojans a 31-20 lead.
   Florida Atlantic kept the lead at about 10 points before UALR used a 12-0 run to take away any doubt. A three-pointer by Janette Merriex gave the Trojans a 68-45 lead with 2:36 left. The end of FAU's bench then outscored the end of UALR's bench 9-0 to finish the game.
