UALR Coach Steve Shields is the speaker at the Downtown Tipoff Club on Monday at the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. The event begins at 11:15 a.m. with a lunch buffet.
And the Arvest Players of the Week will also be there. The boys player is Hooper Vint of Van Buren. Vint's father, Bobby, is UALR's radio color commentator. And UALR was the first of a handful of schools who offered scholarships to Vint.
Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
