Matt Mouzy digs down to help Courtney Jackson in the post. Mouzy was a +13 in Saturday's game. |
But the plus/minus performance of last night has to go to Gus Leeper. Leeper played just three minutes and his only official statistic was one personal foul. But UALR won those three minutes by 11 points as it rallied to take a late first-half lead. Leeper entered the game with UALR down 34-31 and exited with UALR leading 43-35. That makes for a very nice +11 rating for the night.
The rest of last night's top five were: Tramar Sutherland +6, Chuck Guy +3 and Montrell Thornton +3.
For the season, Guy remains the team best at +53. Solomon Bozeman is second at +39.
In the past five games, Mouzy's +34 leads the way. He is followed by Guy +25, Derrick Bails +19, D'Andre Williams +11 and Leeper +10.
The UALR women's victory against Louisiana-Lafayette featured very few substitutions. Janette Merriex was tops at +14, followed by Chastity Reed +12, Shanika Butler +11, Asriel Rolfe +11 and Marian Kursh +10.
For the season, Butler and Rolfe lead at +112, followed by Reed +87 and Merriex +85.
Kursh is the best in the past five games at +62, followed by Rolfe +61, Reed +52, Merriex +45 and Butler +44.
