Garcia-Mendoza was a +17 as UALR outscored FIU 55-38 while he was on the court. Jackson was a +16 with UALR outscoring FIU 57-41 with him on the court. The trend helped Jackson get above the even line for the first time since very early in the season.
The rest of the top five on Thursday were Derrick Bails +7, Solomon Bozeman +4 and D'Andre Williams +3.
In the past five games, Matt Mouzy continues to be the leader at +29. Jackson and Bails are both +26 during that stretch.
For the season, Chuck Guy continues to be the leader at +46. Bozeman is second at +43.
And in the UALR women's victory over FIU on Wednesday, Chastity Reed posted a team best +14. She was followed by Janette Merriex +13, Asriel Rolfe +9, Shanika Butler +9 and Marian Kursh +6. Rolfe and Butler played the entire game.
Reed is +68 over the past five games to lead UALR. Merriex is +67 during that stretch.
And for the season, Butler and Rolfe continue to be tied atop the list at +121. Reed is now at +101 with Merriex fourth at +98.
