Defending Troy will be a challenge for UALR on Saturday

UALR has struggled at times defensively this season, but the Trojans will need to be sound in that area on Saturday when the Troy Trojans visit for a 7 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center.

Troy has just one Division I victory, but brings the usual potent offense run by Coach Don Maestri. Troy scored 91 points in a loss to Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday and is averaging 72.7 points per game on the season.
Troy can be frustrated, but Troy can also get hot and blow its opponent out of the arena.
UALR has been able to slow Troy in the past and that will be a key. Since Troy joined the Sun Belt Conference, UALR has held Troy to an average of 5.83 points fewer than its season scoring average. When UALR wins, Troy scores 9 points fewer than its average. When Troy wins, Troy scores 3.2 points fewer than its scoring average.
