It shouldn't be a surprise that UALR played well after a blowout loss. It's a trend since UALR Coach Steve Shields took over.

UALR has been beaten by 25 or more points 15 times under Shields and has gone 9-6 in the next game. Six of those losses were by at least 30 points and UALR is 4-2 the following game.
When the second game is at home, UALR is flawless. The Trojans are 8-0 in those situations.
This season, UALR lost 86-60 at Oral Roberts and followed with a victory over Louisiana Tech. And this week, UALR lost 80-46 at Missouri State and responded by beating Tulsa.
