Rice is apparently the third best Conference USA team to bet on.

2009 UALR's season effectively came to an end last year with a 74-71 loss at South Alabama in the Sun Belt Conference opener. Senior Mike Smith, who had become the glue patching together a number of issues, tore his ACL and had his college basketball career end that night. UALR was leading South Alabama when Smith was injured, but the Jaguars went on a big run right after that. UALR would end up winning only eight games.
