UALR women win 72-60

Prodigal senior forward Chastity Reed returned to the lineup (and the starting lineup) on Tuesday and everything seemed back to normal.
UALR moved to 3-0 on the season at the Jack Stephens Center with a 72-60 victory over a pretty decent Saint Mary's College team.
Reed, who had been suspended for two of the past four games and played only eight minutes in one of the other two before exiting the game, managed to not only get into the starting lineup but remain on the court on Tuesday. Reed scored a game-high 28 points to lead three Trojans in double figures. Freshman Janette Merriex and freshman Hannah Fohne also reached doubles.
Reed's night wasn't perfect as she was hit with a technical foul just after making a jump shot for her 27th and 28th points of the night.
UALR also received a full game, and a solid defensive game, from senior guard Shanika Butler.
UALR returns to action at home on Saturday against Rice at 2 p.m.
