- The flag of Mexico (senior Alex Garcia-Mendoza) was joined for the first time in the Jack Stephens Center by the flags of Brazil (junior Marlon Louzeiro) and Canada (juniors Eric Kibi and Tramar Sutherland).

- Senior Derrick Bails entered Friday's game scoreless on the season. And he missed his first two free throw attempts of the game. But he finished with 11 points.- Bails was a team high plus 20 in the game. That allowed him to go from worst to first in season plus/minus per minute rating.
- The top five in plus/minus is now Bails, junior Marlon Louzeiro, senior Alex Garcia-Mendoza, junior D'Andre Williams, and senior Solomon Bozeman.
